Babita Paul, a nutritionist from St Neots, has been named a finalist in the New Business category of the 2026 Best Businesswomen’s Awards for her company, New Chapter Nutrition.
New Chapter Nutrition was founded following Babita’s own struggles with an autoimmune condition and mental health issues linked to perimenopause; symptoms she initially did not recognise as related to hormonal changes. Under medical supervision, she managed to put many of these symptoms into remission through holistic approaches.
Motivated by her personal journey and desire to help others, Babita left her corporate career in November 2025 to launch New Chapter Nutrition. The business supports clients with nutrition advice, healthy habits, and gut-health science to reduce autoimmune conditions, prevent type 2 diabetes, and lower chronic inflammation.
In addition to individual support, Babita works with businesses to promote healthier, more resilient teams through women’s health sessions designed to break down stigma and misinformation while fostering psychological safety in the workplace.
Babita described health issues as often developing gradually due to pressure, hormonal shifts, and lifestyle factors, highlighting the importance of early intervention and support.
The finals of the Best Businesswomen’s Awards are scheduled for mid-October 2026, with Babita hoping for success in the competition.
